LØKKE was born from a simple idea: that everyday accessories should be both beautiful and responsible. We believe the smallest details in your daily routine deserve the same care as the biggest decisions.
From Scandinavia, with care
In the quiet beauty of the Nordic landscape, we found our inspiration. The muted tones of moss-covered forests, the soft pink of a winter sunrise, the deep grey of coastal stones. These are the colors of LØKKE.
But LØKKE is more than aesthetics. We started with a question: why are most hair accessories made from virgin plastic? Why do they break after weeks? Why does the connector always leave marks?
We set out to create something better. A hair tie that holds without pulling, that looks as good on your wrist as in your hair, and that gives recycled materials a beautiful second life.
Sustainability

Every decision we make considers its environmental impact. From materials to packaging, we choose the responsible path.
Recycled Polyester (rPET)
Our hair ties are woven from recycled polyester, also known as rPET. This material is made from post-consumer plastic bottles, giving waste a beautiful second life. Each LØKKE hair tie diverts plastic from landfills and oceans, without compromising on quality or durability.
Metal Connector
Where most brands use a cheap plastic crimp to join the elastic, we use a brushed metal connector. It is more durable, more beautiful, and fully recyclable. Our metal connector is designed to last the lifetime of the hair tie and beyond, reducing waste from broken accessories.
Natural Rubber Core
The elastic core of every LØKKE is made from natural rubber, a renewable resource harvested from rubber trees. This gives our hair ties their gentle stretch and ensures they return to shape after every use, without the environmental cost of synthetic alternatives.
Recycled Packaging
Our packaging is made from 100% recycled kraft paper. No plastic windows, no unnecessary layers. The boxes are designed to be beautiful enough to keep and reuse, reducing single-use packaging waste.

Nordic Nature
Our debut collection is a love letter to Scandinavian nature. Five carefully curated shades that capture the essence of the Nordic landscape: the warmth of sandy beaches, the softness of wild roses, the calm of sage-covered hillsides, the mystery of lavender twilight, and the strength of mountain stone.
Each color in the Nordic Nature collection is designed to complement every hair color and skin tone, making LØKKE a truly universal accessory.
